I teach computer lab so the motivational thing is not problematic. It's one of the "fun "classes". I try to keep it fun for them by gearing lessons to what they find interesting, TV, video games, and pop music are some topics in which they can really get involved. If there were only a "Sims" type video game where their characters went to Sim-School, maybe we'd have them for sure.
