Who: elementary students
What: computer based interventions
Why: impact on student achievement based on computer interventions

Rudy,
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean by computer based interventions?
Erika
I think this will be a great research topic, and I would very interested in the outcome. Plus, that will help set the stage for middle school and high school where there will be more and more technology used.
ReplyDeleteI also have the same question as Erika, can you be more specific? Would this be as a reward type intervention or for students struggling to understand a concept/idea?
I love your idea and in fact it was something I was thinking of trying to tackle until I saw your post. I am thinking that your topic is for comprehensional purposes. We do some interventions through technology at my school but I would love to see what else you can come up with!
ReplyDeleteGreat Job!

Hi all,
ReplyDeleteI posted this comment the other day, but I am not seeing it so I will post again, sorry if it duplicates. By computer interventions I mean programs like Successmaker, or Louisianapass.org. Successmaker administers a test, and then starts where the student needs help in ELA and Math. However, I don't think it will be very effective if it is not used daily.
